GhostCue keeps its core work on your Mac. Feedback is optional and is sent only when you choose to submit it.
- Audio & transcription: Your microphone and system audio are captured only during an active session and transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Audio is never recorded to disk or sent anywhere.
- Your content: Prepared questions and saved transcripts are stored locally in your Application Support folder. Audio transcription, question matching, and prepared answers are processed on-device.
- Optional feedback: If you submit feedback in the app, your message and selected matching diagnostics may be uploaded to Cloudflare so GhostCue can review the report. Screenshots are not currently uploaded through feedback. This policy does not specify a fixed retention period for feedback submissions.
- Subscriptions: Purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that data.
- Analytics & tracking: GhostCue uses no analytics, ads, or third-party tracking SDKs. Submitting feedback is a user-initiated support action, not analytics tracking.
